Established in 1970 by founder V. V. Pokharkar, Ganesh Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd. has been a trusted name in precision automotive component manufacturing for more than five decades. From a single Pune workshop, the company has grown into a medium-scale enterprise employing 300+ skilled personnel across multiple plants at Shindewadi, near Pune.

The company specialises in precision-machined components produced via bar route, forging and sheet route — for engine, axle, transmission and chassis applications. Its catalogue of 350+ components includes pressure rings, lock rings, seal races, differential and pinion spacers, main-shaft spacers, oil seal spacers, thrust spacers, butting rings, spherical washers, yoke pins, clevis pins, adaptors, coupling bodies, clamping pieces, dipsticks, closing plates, caller bushes and shim sets — all delivered heat-treated and ground in fully finished condition.

Long-standing supply relationships are at the heart of the company’s identity. Ganesh Auto Parts has supplied Tata Motors for over 42 years across Pune, Jamshedpur, Lucknow, Pantnagar, Dharwad and Sanand plants — with 150+ active part numbers and 55 single-source parts — and also serves Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Jamana Auto Ltd. (Gwalior), Flash Viven Ltd. and RSB Transmission Ltd.

An IATF 16949:2016 certified company (TUV Rheinland), Ganesh Auto Parts operates an extensive in-house machining setup — Traub automats, CNC and VMC centres, keyway and vertical broaching, internal/cylindrical/centreless/surface/duplex grinding, milling, lapping, thread rolling and a full lathe and drilling section. All measurements are validated against a NABL-accredited calibration regime, with CMM, VMM, Contour, hardness, surface-roughness and MPI crack-detection testing.

The Shindewadi manufacturing campus sits 15 km south of Pune city on the Mumbai-Bangalore Highway, just past Katraj tunnel — spanning 6,000 sq ft of built-up area across 1.25 acres of land with full infrastructural facilities. The recent Plant-III expansion adds capacity for OEM volume growth and TML passenger-car parts lines.
